This price slashing has been followed with twenty days of unveiling of new iPhone 7 and iPhone7 plus, which has its expected launch on Oct 7, 2016.
This one is the great price-cut by Apple in a decade. Few days back iPhone 6S 128 GB variant costed around ₹ 82,000. But, post to the drop in price announcement, the price to be paid for same model will be 60,000. This straight cut of ₹22,000 has made lot of fuss in the market.
The story does not end here. iPhone SE, latest variant with 4-inch screen, has also faced the price reevaluation. Its 64GB variant, which was launched with the price of ₹49,000, is now available in all retail store at lower price as ₹44,000.
The confirmation of the news was made to press by spokesperson of the company revealing the price cut in Apple variants like iPhone SE, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S plus.
October 7, this year, is surely going to be special for Apple as well as Apple lovers.
The iOS 10 has been introduced in latest iPhones (iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus) along with alluring features like dual rear camera, home button with 3-d touch, optical image stabilization, water and dust resistant design.
The predecessor launched last year (iPhone 6S and 6S plus) was launched in the month of October in India with the price of ₹62,000 for 6S version in 16 GB variant and ₹72,000 for 6S plus version in 16 GB variant in retail stores. Both were launched with 3D touch technology with RAM of 2GB supporting videos of 4K quality.
To promote variants in Indian market iPhone SE was launched with 4-inche display. The features were similar to that of any other variant like Display IPS LCD type with LED backlit and 640×1136 pixels of resolution. The processor is A9 chipset type with motion coprocessor.
Camera quality was enhanced to 12 MP and Touch ID was also introduced in this variant.
