Spread over a huge expanse of three floors, it hosts a bakery on the ground floor, dining area, bar and café on the first floor and a rooftop. The dining area gives a real feel of being a traveller owing to the bunker beds, and waiting benches and food offers street specialties of the seven continents of the world. The centre suspended stage hosts live gigs and performances and a Tourist Radio Channel. The creativity and designing is brilliantly exhibited from the lovely interiors and décor. You can also call it a Street food bar.
The food presentation and dedication of the staff is reflected in the quality and taste of the food. There is a huge number of servers at your beck and call to provide you the best experience and recommendation if required. However, it is always great to call the chef if possible or the servers who know the menu the best.
Food platters are served like globes, luggage is pinned on the walls and the menu is given in passport booklets, and for each continent there is a different booklet. An elaborate food and beverage menu is offered at Tourist Janpath Connaught Place which includes an eclectic range of beverages paired with the perfect street food options.
This is a concoction of tequila, orange liqueur, sweet and sour syrup and cranberry juice. It is refreshing and especially after a tiring day, you need something like this.
DPL – Desi Piakkad Log
Another appetizing cocktail at Tourist in CP New Delhi is the DPL. It has cumin infused vodka, coriander, lemon and is topped with ginger ale.
In Indore, this is a night street delicacy and here it is served with a lovely salad and dip. They are basically paneer tikka chunks presented in a coal staircase motif with a tikka on each level.
A crispy whole tender fish filet with a kaffir lime chilli marinade is a nice starter to order, however, check on the salt sprinkled on the fish, as if the fish tastes over salty, you might not enjoy it.

Succulent lamb chops roasted and tossed with red wine, shallots and grilled vegetables are the main constituents of this dish. It is a great option for main course.
Paella De Pollo
Choice of chicken or veggies, this is a staple Spanish rice preparation with chicken or your choice of vegetables, rice and Spanish peppers such as saffron. It is a hearty dish and does not need any accompaniment.
We can call it the Indonesian fried rice and actually it is curried fried rice with chicken bits, sauce, spring onions and veggies, topped with fried eggs. It is served with a peanut sauce and prawn crackers. This is a delectable option that one can consider at this diner.
Burmese Khao Soi
Delicious egg curry noodles in a creamy and tangy curry served with shitake mushrooms, zucchini and baby corn. You can also opt for its non-vegetarian version.
A traditional Bengali recipe of spicy lamb stew is a recommended pick here as well. It is slow cooked with great masalas and a thick curry. Pair it with your choice of breads to make it a full meal.
