Frames is made up of a varying number of monologues Performed by two girls. Each of the monologues deals with an aspect of their inner self and then broke free. Subjects from shaving a women’s hair after her husbands death, being a homosexual, being a phoenix post Rape, completing graduation at the age of 50, taking a decision and doing a sperm implant to liberating from love and again falling in love, are touched and spoken and performed thoroughly well. These characters do not speak about feminism or arent feminists or try to make a change in a clich manner. They speak about how they took a stand or supported themselves. Made a great life not just a living. A recurring theme throughout the piece in the women life as a tool of female empowerment, and the ultimate embodiment of individuality. In the plot with the use of music lights, mime and properties with minimal sets, frames does give the audience an experience to take it home.
