One of the finest Patisseries in town and the winner of the Best Regional Bakery and Confectionery Chain of the Year in North India awarded at the Indian Restaurant Awards 2016  is located in the poshest localities of Delhi, L’Opéra, owned by a French family with their main idea being to present people with one of the finest treats from France. In the midst of many other bakeries, they have not shifted their focus or got distracted, and treat people with unique and superior quality treats straight from France.

L’Opéra Delhi

Right from the first step inside the patisserie you will be mesmerised to look at how nicely they have set up the entire bakery. This bakery is all set to welcome people for the Christmas celebration making it more special and by offering a wide variety of festive cakes, pastries, etc. Now for people who love Christmas, these treats are to be loved by them as well, and at L’Opéra, you are sure to find all of them.

Red Velvet Bûche Red Velvet Bûche
The Red Velvet Bûche was the first thing we hit on. With every bite, we could feel the Bûche melting in the mouth and the taste of the cream cheese made it even fancier. One thing that we came to know here was that they do not at use sponge in their cakes, but focus on mousse. It was made with white cream cheese and done with a coating of mouth-watering red velvet. With just one bite, and you will fall in love with this. It was cut in the shape of a log of wood and served by slice.

Then we were served the Chocolate Mille Feuille – even though the dessert is rich, you cannot stop at one bite and will want to finish the entire slice. So in France what they do is they prepare logs made of Mille Feuille and then served by slices. So, Chocolate Mille Feuille was a crunchy preparation in layers. It has those old school chocolate flavour, which one is going to remember for long.
