Chef Anahita along with her team have done it once again, and this time the destination is Noida. Yes, DLF Mall of India Noida recently opened its doors to SodaBottleOpenerWala by Olive Group – one of the most popular Parsi restaurants in Delhi NCR. After a triumphant success of Khan Market and Noida outlets, this one has proved its consistency in the quality and service. Since the mall has not yet purchased a liquor license, none of the restaurants serves alcohol and same is the case with this Irani café in Noida. The ambience, service and food, however, maintains the efficiency, as expected from the hospitality group.
A simple cafe which gives a touch and feel of being in a Mumbai Irani cafe with the interiors and decor. It is spaced out modestly and can accommodate around 90 guests at a time. An old Parsi charm influences every corner of the café with bright colours, red and white table tops, the playlist of the 70’s and typical wall décor as that of an Irani café. The petite dessert counter amidst the restaurant makes sure that everyone leaves space for the sweet and decadent affair.
The staff is efficient and enthusiastic, while service is good. Since they do not take reservations on any day or hour of the week, you might have to get your name added to the waiting list outside the restaurant which might keep you waiting for half an hour or even longer, depending on the rush inside the restaurant. In short, you will never find the cafe vacant. Since there is no liquor license, this could be one factor that would sway the guests to visit the Khan Market outlet which is next closest to Noida. The presentation of the food and beverages is quirky and adds a fun element to your dining experience.
