Bike Pride In Delhi

Hold your breath because Scruff and Those In Need have decided to make the capital witness its first Bike Pride in Delhi!

Keep the date -2nd July – reserved to hop on your Bikes, Scooties and Cycles, celebrating the entry of this bizarre community!

In 2009, on 2nd July, the High Court in Delhi had decriminalized section 377 which had thankfully released the LGBTQ Community from this heinous law. However, the decision was changed by the Apex Court in 2013 but the particular date of 2nd July is still like a ray of hope till today.

Therefore, to remember the historic day, this unusual and innovative event Bike Pride in Delhi has been planned in which anybody who rides any kind of two-wheeler can ride on the streets of South Extension II till the street of Janpath, wearing catchy coloured outfits and carrying placards with supportive messages. Don’t worry if you want to support the cause but can’t ride because you can be a part of the event as a pillion rider also!

So cancel all your other plans on 2nd July and register yourselves to be a part of this cause of equality in the country!

Where: E-10, South Extension Main Market, South Extension Part II
When: 2nd July, 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
