The 16-day Festival will celebrate the essence of India with the best of Books, Films, Fashion, Food, Drinks and much more like never before!
India will complete its 70 years of freedom and Independence on 15th August this year and this festival is apparently the best way possible to celebrate this historic day where the finest of Indian culture and food will be brought together at one place.
Bikaner House has come in alliance with The 1947 Partition Archive, VAYU – Design for Living and Chor Bizarre to organize and host a 16-day festival in the name of “Shared Legacies”. The 16-day Festival is specifically designed to celebrate the India of 2017 and therefore, you will get to see the best of cinema, visual art, fashion, photography, books, music etc.
It goes without saying that we are the most excited about the food but for a change there is some other thing too which has got us equally excited! We are talking about the Dastangoi event which will be held on 23rd August where ‘Ismat Chugtai Ke Afsane’ will be narrated by Askari Naqvi and Sunil Mehra!
Bikaner House has always made us experience some of the most fun and interesting events in Delhi NCR and so our expectations are quite high! Come with your family and friends as the 16-day Festival is open to all!
